I've been interested in the fashion for several years and finally got enough money and space from my family to order a dress!
4 What is your favorite Lolita genre?
I'm a big goth and classic. Glassic? I also love old school.
5 Do you have any particular commitment to that genre, or your own definition of it?
Hmm... I wear mostly solids and things that are reminiscient of old school / very simplistic. I'm trying new things recently, but I don't think I'll be a print fanatic or anything.
6 Do you have your ears pierced? How many piercings?
Yes. My ears are pierced. Just one piercing on both sides. I've had it since I was a baby
7 What is your favorite brand?
My favorite brand is Sheglit though BTSSB is a close second.
8 What is your favorite outfit?
At the moment, it's Lara's Doll by Little Bear with striped utks, a bxw headpiece, and mary janes. I wear this coord way too often.
9 Lolita How many friends do you have?
So many! So many! I can't count them!
10 What was the best thing about doing Lolita?
I love the connections I've made in the community- online and offline. It's gotten me out of the house, and I've spoken to people I never imagined speaking to!

I love Fruits since I love old school and proto. There's a lot of it there

I like rectangular headpieces. I wear them the most and have many of them. I'd like to try wearing half bonnets, but full bonnets make me look weird.

Yes, I love bloomers. They help me feel safe.
15 Do you tie your headdress in front? or are you on the team that ties it behind your head?
I tied them in the back typically. I find the sensory experience of tying them in the front to be a bit unbearable.

My favorite genre is post punk. My favorite is not post punk band though. It's Panchiko.

It's just the default apple ringtone. I only call family.

I would like to!

I haven't gone to a live in so long... I don't know what I'll do.

I like perfume that smells like desserts.

I'm always anxious eating when I'm wearing my more difficult to wash pieces.

I love the library. I also go to the woods a lot.

I wear casual lolita most days.

I was wearing old school to a con, and I think a girl thought I was an ita. I still like the coord, but I just wish I'd been able to defend myself. I saw her again recently. She didn't recognize me thank god...

My hair is box braids at the moment with bits of purple.

I've been interested in the fashion for at least 8 years, but my first dress was worn April in 2023!

Yes, I have a giant rack that I bought for $100 T_T. Unfortunately.. I'll have to put this rack in storage for the summer. Not looking forward to that.
30 Have you ever thought about leaving Lolita? If so, why?
I've thought about what I'll do in the future if I lose interest or feel old, but I think my style would just shift.. Or I'd start EGA. I don't know.
31 What is your motto?
I'd rather my outfit be borderline ugly than boring.

I want to make a lot of money to support my hobbies.
33 “This person would definitely look good on Lolita!” Are there any celebrities you think that about?
I don't think about celebrities frequently or know of that many, but the girl who plays Alice in Twilight is very pretty. She'd look great in old school gothic lolita with a rectangle headdress.

Nameless Poem! I went to my first meetup in it. It's also the first lolita piece I ever desired, and the first dress I owned. I don't wear it often as I feel it's a very dramatic piece that draws a lot of attention to me, but I do love her.

I am not sure. Most of the shoes I wear are pretty tall, but I've never measured them.

I'm really interested in ouji. I'd like to wear it someday, but can't convince myself to invest in it.. I want to be an old school prince in shorts, striped socks, a tie and a beret maybe.

I'm a big of raschel lace, but I don't wear it often because of how people in the community view it.

No... I told myself I'd never allow myself to buy one... I stared at one for months on Mercari but she sold.. probably for the best.

I don't.. I wear glasses! So it feels silly to do lots of eye makeup.

I like heavy eyeliner but I don't wear it myself.

My lipstick is dark brown.

I'm pretty calm nowadays. When my coords are more extravagant, I'm anxious because I know I'm sticking out a lot.

My time lag was over half a decade. Maybe even a whole decade.

I commissioned a custom gobelin piece from Glittertale with a headpiece as well. It was pretty expensive though I got a discount because they messed up the fabric. I love the dress a lot.
58 Lolita really costs money, doesn't it? How do you pay for Lolita?
I work. I'm only allowed to work 9 hours a week, but I've been able to make a nice wardrobe despite my little funds.

Moi Meme Moitie. The material looks so cheap, the old designs are superior, the new designs look.. pretty bad a lot of the time. It's really disappointing because I love old MMM and it's the gothic lolita brand of all time. How the mighty fall.

Yes! Most things I buy are online nowadays. I would avoid buying from DevilInspired due to a lot of iffy items being listed and use 42lolita. I'd log into taobao itself and look through specific brands you see on 42lolita or devilinspired and buy from it with a shopping service. I also like to get on Red Book and see what lolitas are wearing and then image search on Taobao.
63 Just between us, even if you want to keep it your own secret, what's an indie brand that makes you go “this is exactly my style”.
I recently found this Chinese indie brand called KONU:NOKU that makes beautiful pieces. I love the Lace and Cross Cotton OP.

I sell them or give them away.

The most recent lolita item I bought was two skirts with cherries on them. The most recent non lolita item were to art prints from a festival.

There is this beautiful blouse with an elastic waist and cross on the chest by the indie brand Elegy. Absolute perfection.

I would wear lolita to a musical or something like that. It sounds nice. I understand it.

I don't really wear makeup! It's fine to me. Most of my favorite pictures of people in lolita don't have makeup or have very little.

I think a lolita who is happy in what they are wearing is a perfect lolita

I don't like when people say things that are incorrect or aren't historically accurate.

Lolita is fun regardless of gender. At the meetup, there was a guy in OTT sweet and he looked great! Everytime I see him I'm very envious of how well put together his coords are.

I wear color now!

"You look great" or "What are you cosplaying?" or "You look like Alice In Wonderland." My family reacts pretty neutrally though I've never worn my more dramatic coords around them.

I'm preparing for my first summer as a lifestyle lolita. I'm focusing on skirts, ankle socks, cutsews, and I plan to buy parasols.

Mmm.. Mmm.. My friend Robin. If it's a celebrity, I am always in awe of Mana Sama.

I've never made clothes.

I did when I was younger. I made bows and chokers and stuff, but I don't have any of it anymore.

Hmmm.. I love.. really gothic coords. They're my favorites.. Kuro with lots of... things happening haha. I want to increase my gothic pieces as this is where my heart lies.. I've lost my way...

I admire a lot of people, especially my friends

Hmm... I guess like.. If it's a friend date.. I'd choose my friend Io. I'd like to go on a picnic in lolita and take lots of pictures... Or go somewhere abandoned. We'd both be wearing Sheglit! Or maybe my friend Guts. I'd wear black- they'd wear pink. I'm not sure what we'd do though.

Hmm.. I'd to open a store for my art. I guess. I don't know.
