Q: I truly adored your daydrinking jam entry^^ Adelaide... Augh. Shed so much light into her and her relationships to Eva and Aiyana... She seems so poised, so getting a look into her insecurities and what shaped her felt... Not nice, but I really liked it. I truly don't understand people like her sister and what their deal is... Waa she just trying to put her down so her self esteem remained low and she'd be dependent in her? Was she jealous of Eva, which is why she reacted like that? Calling her sister she treated like that as a child, who was despite the odds, willing to forgive her after she *almost died* a raging narcissist?? God. Needless to say I cheered when Adelaide cut her off^^ Honestly there is such heavy baggage with childhood asssault and being lgbt esp transfem, since some people sadly still insist it be the cause for having 'warped' us from 'normal'... So I was wondering if Adelaide struggled with that, or if her sister ever insinuated it? I'm assuming the rest of the family doesn't know as well? Her sister is truly the worst, but I was curious to know more about her and how she ticks, if you're willing to shed some light into that? Ger mother too... Telling poor Adelaide her 'stupid' sister got one point average higher and if she was stupid as well... A recipe for competion among siblings, insecurity, perfectionism... No wonder she struggles. Augh. Really get her cat complex as well. Needing to develop claws to protect oneself, since no one did... Does she envy Aiyana for not having to? Seeing their relationship from Adelaide's perspective was really sweet through. They're just characters, but I wish them the best (slongside you of course) regardless. Adelaide's sister insinuates it in text and will do so randomly in their life, but mainly to be a nuisance.. Adelaide doesn't talk about it partially because she is trans and the other reason being shame (though they surely overlap at times). She really doesn't have the words for it and I doubt her sister does either.. I doubt Adelaide is even sure if she's talked about the event with anyone though but she prefers to think that she has not.
Genieva and Adelaide rarely hangout outside of poking each other over messages so their understanding of each other is quite poor- mostly based on the worst of each other's behaviors. Their family shares subscription services and they can snoop on each other in other weird ways.. It's mostly Genieva though. Adelaide is not on her computer very much.
Over time mean spirited ribbing just became abusive in nature. Genieva is a bit worse because she has more material to work with. I don't think it sparks joy for either of them most of the time which is why Adelaide is at a point where she often leaves conversations with Genieva without saying goodbye and may seem a bit passive in conversations.. Adelaide just still reaches out to her because she feels like no one else will respond (other than Aiyana who she doesn't think can fully understand her problems).
Adelaide's feelings/envy of Aiyana is gone over a bit here. She still loves Aiyana very much even if she has a tendency to ruminate on their differences.
Umm.. My hope is to have a small spin off short thing involving Adelaide and Eva's family someday. Probably not an entire game but maybe some short comics.. We'll see.
