poppy is a somewhat raggedy ball jointed doll made of various materials. she is frequently in pain but doesn't like to express it.
she tends to infantilize herself and act cute to get attention from others. she is very social though prefers to act aloof. she has a very low social battery despite wanting to interact with others, so she chooses to be alone frequently.
poppy will depict herself as very overdramatic if she expresses pain despite fully believing what she is saying. she feels ashamed of her desire for pity and attention, so she tends to downplay the extent of her suffering.
poppy's feelings are hurt very easily. she will isolate herself if she feels rejected or ignored or if she's feeling particularly sensitive. she may laugh intensely or get become very childish to cope with her hurt feelings before spending an extended amount of time alone to recover.
poppy feels an envy of sorba due to her being more of a refined doll than herself. she sometimes tries to annoy sorba but sorba does not react very much at all and may just walk away from poppy.
she tries to calm herself around sorba but struggles and tends to get more worked up which increases her anxiety as sorba fails to react. at times they do have good conversation due to having some similar interests and both being dolls. poppy can detect sorba is simply indifferent but struggles in the moment to not view sorba's lack of reaction to her antiques as dislike.
on the other end is tart who poppy torments somewhat intentionally AND unintentionally. tart is very reactive which poppy very much enjoys. poppy likely bullies tart at times to get a greater reaction or see how they feel about things. it sparks much joy for poppy. poppy does like tart though. they do this but sort of downplay how much it distresses tart in their own head at times.
poppy has fun with the dolls and robots above but has the most fun with BADGE!! this is because badge views the world as a toybox and tart is a toy. she loves being with badge and they both wreak havoc in the world. ANNOYING DUO.
poppy is very fond of accoustic guitars and ambient music. she can play and make up simple tunes with basic coords. she will do this when she is alone.
she is very fond of imperfection. it makes her feel better about herself. many of the tunes she plays are slightly off key or out of rhythm.
