♚ 9.13.26 Homepage Update (v.2) - I was rapidly becoming unhappy with Ophanimkei's "new" old layout, so now it has a new layout building on that concept. It's still a wip and probably will be edited even more over time (I need to do a lot of optimization), but I think it is now perusable! The site is now BIGGER. I took a lot of inspo from gg8473.com and inkcaps.neocities.org.. I really admire how Inkcaps site is sprawling, but I liked how GG8473's site has randomization and recently featured stuff. The important stuff is still there but the site can still be large! I still have features I want to add to the homepage and old stuff I want to remove, but I am pretty happy at the moment!

♚ 9.9.26 Media Logs | Philosophies Section - In the modern world, humans are very concerned about media consumption. While I think most media discourse has nothing to do with me, due to having "media logs," I want to state a variety of my beliefs regarding this subject.

♚ 9.8.26 Diary Viewport Optimization - The diary now uses vh and vw to allow for better scaling on larger monitors. Some elements may be missing here and there (?) but should overall be much better now. Thanks

About a College Girl Who Gets Picked Up at a Mixer by an Older Girl entry got fucked up at some point and absorbed many other entries so it is now fixed as well.. Return of Yuri. Maybe I'll do the same update to my yaoi log someday

♚ 7.1.26 Writing Black Characters | Edits - I did some edits to the Writing Black Characters zine. These changes were tied to grammar, capitalizing Black on most pages (it is quite hard to catch as grammar checkers can even fail at it), and the Masculinity (Bismuth) addendum now has some extra thoughts as well to clean up. I have a longer log on Itchio. I should really make this RSS feed slightly more robust huh.

♚ 6.30.26 Guestbook + Askbox Updates - My askbox and guestbook are now themed after the home page. They are more mobile responsive than before but not as much as I'd like. I hope to tear their stylesheets apart later.

♚ 6.21.26 ophanimkei | redesign and under construction - ophanimkei.com is officially under construction again! the home pages have been redesigned, but they aren't finished. QOL and aesthetic updates to be added! i sleep now.

♚ 6.20.26 The Amazing (Jax) Digital Circus - Watched the finale. I wish I liked it more but I genuinely think I struggled due to the fervor around the leaks up until release so do be prepared for that.

♚ 6.10.26 Games | Glow of Honeydew Now On STEAM - Glow of Honeydew is now on Steam. Happy Pride Month.

♚ 6.5.26 Neocities Down | Webring Stuffs - Adding because I'm not sure how long it will take for Kyle to resolve the domain issues. The webrings will be broken for the time being unfortunately. If it takes a while, I may temporarily hide Neocities sites from the webrings but I'd prefer not to do this because it will be annoying to revert.

♚ 5.28.26 Bot Attacks | Various Updates (Tools, Ophanimkei Itslef) - All pages are back and spam bot mess has been cleaned up and handled via one method (we will test to see if it works and if it doesn't forms may go temporarily again). I've never dealt with a bot that ummm.. That annoying before. User scripts under have been updated to try to handle this issue smiles but of course, my own method may not be full proof! I decided to go ahead and Deprecate fanlisting and the only user input script I'm interested in maintaining for public use is the askbox.. It is my beautiful daughter. (I also almost ran the wrong code and deleted a bunch of shit but my site runs backups everyday so.. Beautiful life!!)

♚ 12.27.25 Webring/Listing Administration - Various updates for all my listings and webrings. All are now mobile compatible. Every single listing now has pending member count publicly available. Webrings now have last updated scripts that shows when I last updated the JS file. I also added my guestbook link to the pages so people could contact me easily. There is more to do still before the scripts are publicly available but completion is approaching.

The askbox has a few new questions answered (linux, my typos, etc), and there's a few changes to the home page. The lastfm widget is gone (though it will be moved elsewhere eventually), and some more gift art is around with direct links to the OC catalogue for easy credit reasons!

♚ 12.4.25 Writing Black Characters - Hi! I uploaded my zine 'Looking At Writing Black Characters: Hazbin Hotel and Steven Universe are Shows that Exist' a few days ago. It reflects on the concept of representation, black characters creation guide, what it means, being the quietest in a minority group, and the eternal discourse wheel's impact on entertainment media using popular media (guess which ones). There's typos in it but I fix it periodically thanks thanks!

♚ 11.5.25 Slowly Updating Askbox CSS - The askbox has looked rough for a while LOL. My bad. It's cause I wanted to make it Not Brown anymore, but then I made a mess and didn't clean it up. I still don't think I'm done styling it but it's not a complete mess anymore! More to do more to do.

♚ 10.23.25 Dollmaker Listing - I recently hosted the Dollmaker Jam on Itchio and decided to make a Dollmaker Weblisting for Dollmakers hosted on websites. Your own dollmakers or others are welcome.

♚ 10.21.25 second life | addition of comms, rabot, and other updates - I added a bit too the Second Life page. I added comms to start highlighting communities I'm fond of. The Clubhouse page has been updated a bit. There is now a rabot page for my new robot rabbit avatar, and I redid the organization of the gallery so it wouldn't be terrible to go through. There are some miscellaneous updates too.

♚ 10.14.25 Diary Update | Web Shenanigans - I am always doing miscellaneous updates and projects and don't want to spam the RSS feed with my garbage. In this update I talk about some of the things I've done which includes realizing I was nominated for Milk Webchain (which is a delight because so many friends and friends of friends are there), talking about my dollmaker development done in Godot (and the hopes of making a dollmaker listing/webring), RehAIbilitation updates in pursuit of Steam Release, and I also posted some dolls I made during the jam. (I'll probably make a page for that sort of thing actually. I really do love dollmakers)

There are now many images on the gallery page though I may cut them down eventually due to many being basically duplicates (right now admittedly it is sort of a photodump to me). I also messed with the ordering a bit. Bunny's Wardrobe has new (and old) outfits. I updated her old outfit photos to use her new body. I also added Kitty (V1 and V0). I think V0 Kitty has more outfits so I'll try to find them and add them too.

♚ 9.22.25 OC Catalogue - Yesterday I worked on an OC catalogue. I made it for fun, for commission/art trade reasons, and cause I don't really use Toyhouse much anymore. Not everyone is there but you know. Progress is progress and focusing on game characters anyways

♚ 9.20.25 Games Now on Site - I've uploaded all my games to the site and have them all available on a page. I did this because Itchio is down a lot, and I don't know the future of content on that site. All 18+ pages have 18+ markings and warnings when you click the games- like Itchio and Steam. These games may end up on there own subdomain eventually (on their own seperate server), but for now they are here.

♚ 9.9.25 Webring Additions, 18+ Toggle on Media Page - There have been additions the Usakumya and RPG Maker Webring. Thanks for joining and giving their revivals after moving hosts a strong start! And the media logs now have an 18+ toggle for media intended for adults only. I enjoy having these sorts of things be clicked by the user in order to toggle certain content on and off, so I think I'll add something similar to the yaoi page too.. Not a filter but something else haha.

♚ 9.5.25 Second Life Page REVIVE - Second Life Page has returned after a year or two or three. I don't know how long it's been. I plan to add more stuff, and I'm not sure I'm satisfied with the page itself or not, but it is acceptable right now. Out of ideas and these simple card looking pages are easy and fun the people tend to like them.¯\_(ᵕ—ᴗ—)_/¯ The gallery does need to be carefully sorted at some point, but I want to find all of my photos first. They are scattered across my hard drives haha.

♚ 9.4.25 Homepage Update - New homepage. I've been enjoying frutiger lately, and making my last visual novel did not get that out of me. Blue and green and bubbles. May do some edits later. Not sure right now. I wanted to do this for a while to be free from iframes. I'll probably make the old iframe hashes redirect to the new pages. We'll see though. I may Not.

♚ 9.3.25 Black Webmaster Webring - A webmaster named Zero reached out to me to make a black webmaster webring. I drew the widget, isn't that fun!! There aren't a lot of black webmasters I am familiar with (three, one being zero, and two who are on long hiatuses/doing revamps of sites), so if you know anyone, you should totally invite them c: The widget lives on my neighorboods page with the rest of my webrings.

♚ 8.23.25 Confessions Page Updated (18+) - Hi! I've updated a lot of the confessions page. It now uses PHP/databases like the other media logs. I added an entry for Jinx (again) and Write Me, Touch Me, Read Me. I updated some bits of of the page itself. Mentioned I may put yuri there later. Not sure right now. The favorite page is using a database too, but it hasn't been updated yet. I will update when I can!

♚ 8.23.25 Abe Fanlisting updated - I've updated the Abe fanlisting to be hosted on this server so no more random iframe issues. Still needs aesthetic updates though

♚ 8.10.25 Vegeta Shrine - I sat down for several hours early today and started working on a Vegeta Shrine. There's a lot of stuff on it already, but I consider it in a constant state of wip right now. I want to add a page for him and his wife, his dynamics with Goku/Kakarot, a scrollable vertical timeline, headcanons, etc. I really like him. Working on this really invigorated me. PHP workflows are fun and I finally got pretty fast at converting DOCs to HTML!

Afro Surrealism Manifesto - The Afrosurreal Manifesto by D Scott Miller. Reading this made me feel like I wasn't absolutely insane, and it is the only "label" I really feel suits me as a storyteller.

Afro Surrealism Is Dead (And It's About Damn Time) - The author of the Afro Surreal Manifesto created this article in which he (rightfully) complains about the mainstream's handling of the term. To me, this article does a good job showing how modern counterculture becomes mainstream and is taken over by wealthy people who never acknowledge early innovators of the counterculture. However, you know... this article is a long line of pieces in the tradition of major figures and early pioneers of countercultures complaining about their evolution... I have complex feelings on this article and these sorts of works as an indie artist, but it did inspire me to make these buttons.

Tyoma's "The Curse Of Being A Teenage Girl" - This is an article about Tyoma's experiences growing us as a teenage girl. Some of it felt like looking in a mirror, and I deeply connected with it.

It really reached me, and although I want to respect Bikobatanari's desire to go offline, I do wish this article was still public. Bikobatanari has several other fabulous writings as well.
