I think the main issue with Itchio right now is that it may not even be sinister actions but a completely arbitrary system that is based on algorithmic activity of a game that catches a moderator's eye. It being arbitrary results in cruelty. i was watching patrick boyle talk about youtube censorship and it reestablished these feelings. The reason I feel like this is because controversial yuri is still up and it seems like Sometimes itchio staff will review content but sometimes they just filter it for no particular reason. I also just watch the forums and look for other games being deindexed
