I think one nice thing about it all is that maybe it will lead to developers using a wider variety of engines. I moved on from Renpy a while back because it was just getting extremely unwieldy in a way that was difficult for me to use (which I theorize led to him going: I am not vibe coding.. cause of that mess). But I think a downside is that Renpy is a very accessible program.. My primary sadness about not using Renpy is that my games that don't use Renpy don't have access to its accessibility features

Can I be honest guys? I don't think Github Copilot or Code Completion is at all like vibe coding with ChatGPT. ChatGPT generates broken code while code completion can just suggest the next word or like.. even be as simple as automation.

I dislike Github Copilot because it is a Microsoft product but I don't think it is anything like generating code with something like OpenAI. I think it's fair to be upset by LLMs but vibecoding entering general lexicon is kind of .. bad. Like everyone asking Renpytom how it is Not vibecoding doesn't understand that vibecoding is bad because it is used to setup large infrastructures that often fails due to no human ever looking at it (Windows 11, Bluesky)

Really, my biggest confusion is.. I have no clue why Renpytom posted about it then fucked off LOL. Also he could've put Github Copilot as a contributor on Github if he's been using it since 2021 oh ym goooddd
